"I was turned from darkness to light!"
The Testimony of Evangelist Joseph H. Mizell

Listen to his testimony

As a young person, Joe was constantly in trouble. At the age of 21, he found himself in prison awaiting trial for his involvement in the beating death of a man in a bar room fight. He, along with other members of his gang, was held without bail, and there was talk that the death penalty would be sought as punishment for their crime. Still, Joe was hard-hearted and mocked God and the ministers who came to visit him in prison.

One of Joe's gang buddies, that was in jail with him, got saved and accepted Jesus as his personal savior when he was released. After many invitations from his buddy, he finally agreed to go to church with him. Arriving at the church drunk and ready to fight, he was supernaturally changed under the mighty power of the Holy Spirit. This marked the beginning of his ministry in the mid 1960's.

Since that time, he has ministered all across the United States by conducting revivals that stir saints and sinners alike to action. He has also served as pastor in numerous church locations. He has traveled throughout the world sharing the gospel to those in need. Joe has labored tirelessly in Haiti, West Indies, which is one of the poorest countries in the world. He is currently working in Haiti to break the curse that is on this voodoo capital of the world (Psalms 9:17 - "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.") Read Deuteronomy 28:1-25. He needs your prayers and financial support to break this curse and bring the blessings of God. In 1996, Joe found himself at death's door as a result of an automobile accident. With every bone in his face broken and in a coma, the family was called in to say goodbye. God miraculously intervened and raised him up as a testimony of His healing power. God restored him in body and spirit. Since that time, he has ministered with a deep desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ with whomever he comes in contact with.

Evangelist Mizell continues to conduct revivals throughout the United States and foreign countries. He is an anointed Holy Spirit-filled, evangelist who shares the Word of God with unbridled zeal, inspiring those in his congregations to examine their walk with God.
